. I have been in the communication space for over 20 years. I have occupied roles in both public and private sector in internal communication, media relations and led communication on national initiatives in South Africa. I have used communication to help solve business problems and achieve organisational objectives.
In the different roles that I have been involved I was able to effectively contribute to:

Communication:
Developing communication strategies, plans and materials in line with business strategy. I have been responsible for managing the improvement of the flow of information for both internal and external stakeholders and identifying communication opportunities to ensure consistent and regular engagement with stakeholders, and through understanding their needs, this also allowed me to incorporate new ideas, techniques, and trends, to ensure best practice within the business. Projects Include: Water Conservation Water Demand Project for Eskom, National Health Laboratory Services national initiative, Vodacom Management Communication guide, Sasol Communication and training, John Snow Inc Strategic Information for South Africa (SIFSA).

Media Relations:
As the deputy spokesperson for the National Prosecuting Authority I managed the department through fostering constructive and positive relationships with the media and setting proactive media agenda for leadership and key employees identified with a media schedule comprised of newsworthy announcements and material produced and disseminated. Acted as an intermediary between organisational spokespeople and stakeholders and respond to queries.

Public Relations:
Raising Organisations Public profiles through maximising positive exposure and profiling key role players whilst building effective relationship with stakeholders. Currently with John Snow Inc and constantly using international platforms for disseminating information through publications and presentation (delivered by the Chief of Party) at international events. Other roles included ensuring clear understanding of organisational objectives through creating organisational visibility.

General Communication:
Proofreading and Sub-editing work of others ensuring maintaining intended messaged to be communicated.
