Abraham Kriel Childcare elects new board chairperson

The board of Abraham Kriel Childcare is pleased to announce the election of Mr Lawrence Bongani Mlotshwa as chairperson on 24 November 2014. Mr Mlotshwa has been serving on the Abraham Kriel Childcare board since November 2003. He is an accomplished Human Resources executive and has worked in this capacity for Unilever, Sun International, Nedbank Group, ABSA and Barclays Group as well as Neotel.

Mr Mlotshwa was Chairman of the Institute of Bankers (IOB), an organisation he revived from bankruptcy into profitability. He also served as a board member of the Bank Sectorial and Education Authority (BankSeta). He is currently the Managing Director of Mantuzelas Management Services. He is also faculty Leadership Development Advisor to the American Callaway Institute of Leadership. He holds a bachelor's degree in human sciences coupled with a diploma in higher education (HED), obtained from the university of Fort Hare. He further obtained an MBA from Henley College in the UK.
