About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Demand Planner to manage forecasting and ordering across our premium imported appliances.

This is a full time position but demand planning will make up 50% of your role with a strong operational focus, working closely with sales and operations teams to ensure optimal stock levels and effective supply planning. As the role does not yet require a full day’s capacity, the successful candidate will also take on additional responsibilities and support wider team functions, making this an ideal opportunity for a proactive, hands-on individual who enjoys variety.

Key responsibilities

Demand planning and forecasting

• Manage and maintain demand forecasts across multiple brands
• Incorporate customer forecasts into planning assumptions
• Analyse sales trends and adjust forecasts accordingly
• Prepare and place monthly orders in line with shipment schedules

Inventory and supply management

• Monitor stock levels to prevent stockouts and excess inventory
• Align supply with demand across different product ranges
• Track incoming shipments and manage order timelines

Data and reporting

• Use Excel to analyse data, build forecasts, and generate reports
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities in demand patterns
• Maintain accurate planning and inventory records

Cross-functional support

• Work closely with Sales to validate forecasts
• Assist broader teams with operational and administrative tasks as needed
• Contribute to improving internal processes and efficiencies

What we are looking for

• Strong analytical mindset with a natural ability to work with data
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Proactive and self-driven – someone who takes ownership and initiative
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a dynamic environment
• A reliable, switched on, and solution-oriented team player
• Previous experience in demand planning, supply chain, or similar is preferred
