Paymenow announces Shoprite partnership

Local fintech startup, Paymenow, has collaborated with Shoprite to allow its users to buy necessities such as food, prepaid airtime and prepaid electricity directly from the retailer in the Paymenow app.

The app also enables users to fund a Shoprite Money Market account at the touch of a button. Paymenow is expected to roll out a similar offering to Pick n Pay and Boxer Superstores.
