Durbanville Hills Chardonnay wins silver

The 2009 Durbanville Hills Chardonnay recently won a silver award at the 17th annual Chardonnay du Monde competition in Burgundy. More than 887 wines from 37 countries were sampled in the French-based event, with just one third of the total number of entries earning medals of any kind, making the achievement of the cellar's white winemaker, Gunther Kellerman impressive. It is expected to retail for around R50 per bottle.
