SA book publisher Quivertree wins international awards

Quivertree Publications has announced that two of its books have won the “Best in the World” award in their selected categories at the prestigious Gourmand World Cookbook Awards. In the category “Best Local Cuisine Book”, Prickly Pears & Pomegranates came first out of 30 participating countries. Fire Water, which was awarded the “Best Wine & Spirits Book” in the world, was competing against 13 international titles. Quivertree says it believes it is the first South African publisher to have won these awards.
