Imbokodo FM up before ICASA's Complaints and Compliance Committee

The KwaZulu-Natal-based Imbokodo FM class licensee will appear before the Complaints and Compliance Committee of ICASA on Friday, 17 October 2008, following its failure to submit audited statements for the period 2006/7 and 2007/8 financial years. Other allegations against the licensee range from allegations of nepotism; failure to register board of directors with CIPRO; non-submission of logs of programming in the form acceptable to ICASA and non-compliance with community participation which allows members of the community served by Imbokodo FM to participate in the affairs and contribute to the programming of the radio station.
