Whirlpool SA appoints new MD

Whirlpool Corporation, a leading manufacturer and marketer of major home appliances, has announced the appointment of Stefan A. Egli as the Managing Director of Whirlpool South Africa. Currently based in Austria as the Regional Director of the Central European division, Egli will be relocating to South Africa with his family to start his new position on the 1 October 2008.
