Almost a million ways to make a child smile

The annual ‘Caring for Our Children' campaign by Danone Clover has raised R900,000 in the first of its two month winter run, and is a fine illustration of Madiba's words: “There can be no keener revelation of a society's soul than the way in which it treats its children.” In previous years, the campaign raised R1,3 million (2004), R1,4 million (2005), R1,5 million (2006) and R1,6 million (2007). The money already raised this year is a sign last year's total will be surpassed.
