Local doccie wins at 2008 World TV Awards

A Chedza Media documentary screened on SABC2 that promotes better religious understanding recently won best documentary from the 2008 World TV Awards. "The Letter," produced by Chedza Media in Johannesburg, is intended to help us understand the conflict between Israel and Palestine on a more personal level and was filmed on site in the West Bank and Tel Aviv. The awards programme is in its fifth year and is organised by the Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD), which seeks to facilitate regional and international dialogue on electronic media and to assist members through educational programs.
