Brainstorm goes alternative
The March 2011 cover of Brainstorm, a magazine traditionally focused in the business technology space, features the alternative band Die Antwoord on its cover, as a move to attract attention and new readers. The rationale is that the band has taken advantage of the brave new online world to catapult itself to international fame and fortune, by first rising to fame on YouTube and its taking advantage of new media and succeeding is a good business story.
