Uber Eats is now available in Soweto
Uber Eats is now available in Soweto; it's the first international food delivery app to launch in the area. Residents of Jabulani, Pimville, Orlando East and Diepkloof may use Uber Eats to order-in from restaurants including Just Badela, Chaf Pozi and Moja Café.
In Soweto, Uber Eats is partnering with 100s of local restaurants as well the Kliptown Youth Programme to help unemployed youth earn some money as delivery-partners. In another first for Soweto, Uber Eats will offer local residents the chance to deliver food using a bicycle.
