Locals launch Thundafund campaign to encourage dog adoption

Emma O'Brien and Paula Graham have a launched a Thundafund campaign to raise funds for their Mutts The Book project. O'Brien and Graham created the coffee table book, which is filled with rescue dog portraits and their stories, with the aim of raising funds for the Community Led Animal Welfare and Sandton SPCA.

All proceeds of the book sales, an estimated minimum of R30,000 for each charity from the sale of 500 books, will be divided between CLAW and the Sandton SPCA. The project is also aimed at encouraging more people to adopt dogs rather as opposed to purchasing them from breeders.
