Daniel Matjila appointed CEO of PIC
Daniel Matjila has been appointed as CEO and executive director of the Public Investment Corporation (PIC)‚ Finance Minister Nhlanhla Nene has announced.
He replaces Elias Masilela‚ who resigned at the end of May.
Matjila has been chief investment officer of the PIC since 2005.
Nene also announced Murray Michell has been appointed director of the Financial Intelligence Centre.
In a separate statement, National Treasury announced the appointment of Tshokolo Nchocho as the new CEO of the Land Bank. He was previously acting CEO of the Development Bank of SA (DBSA).
Arthur Moloto‚ until recently chair of the Government Employees Pension Fund‚ is the new chair of the Land Bank.
