Suncoast Casino shows off new Salon Privé gaming area
The Suncoast Casino in Durban recently unveiled its new Salon Privé gaming area. The Salon Privé offers a non-smoking and smoking floor and features 21 gaming tables, 202 slot machines, private rooms, as well as a restaurant and a bar.
Prime Architects and Volume Design designed the gaming area; its Art Deco design emphasises geometric forms such as spheres, polygons, rectangles, chevrons, and sunburst motifs. Its features include an underfoot-marble artwork with delicately inlaid brass; bespoke light fittings set within custom hand painted ceilings; and patterned art deco doors with signature brass inlays.
