Grohe Spa showroom introduces Urban Jungle

DüSSELDORF, GERMANY: Grohe has launched a new showroom experience, which puts its spa products centre stage and invites visitors to be inspired in an oasis of indulgence. Düsseldorf-based bathroom design specialists UTH Bad-Couture, whose showroom now hosts the world's first Grohe Spa experience themed 'Urban Jungle', kicked off the international implementation of this new concept.

Nicole Rösler, head of Grohe Spa, explains, "Our new concept explores the boundaries between modern product display and artistic presentation in a creative way. The 'Urban Jungle' combines organic growth and wild nature with the lifestyles and dynamics of a modern metropolis. Visitors can draw inspiration from this unique wellness experience, as they realise their own needs and their expectations of a home spa."

The presentation centres on the bathtub with the architecturally sculptured Allure Brilliant fittings and the luxury shower for multi-sensory water enjoyment involving light, sound and steam. These two focal points represent manmade islands surrounded by untouched nature - rough stonewalls, hanging and standing plants, natural wood, gurgling water and animal noises. Set amidst green foliage, natural wood, metal struts and textured surfaces, the spa elements stand ready to induce a state of deep relaxation. Inspired by fashion, yet very much taking its cues from the colours of nature, the multi-sensory 'Urban Jungle' experience brings the brand to life.

Grohe has devised a customisable concept for outfitting more showrooms around the world. This concept can be adapted to any showroom and any local requirements. Comprising high-quality materials, accessories such as loungers, subdued colour schemes and sophisticated mood lighting, the concept encourages visitors to conjure up an image of a personalised spa installed in the comfort of their own home.
