NAB to represent 10 Soweto newspapers
Caxton Publishers & Printers' bouquet of Soweto Urban Newspaper series is rapidly expanding with the rollout of another seven Urban Newspapers scheduled for completion in mid-October of this year. With the launch of Urban Newspapers in Dobsonville, Orlando, Eldorado Park, Meadowlands, Chiawelo, Jabavu, Zola, the Newspaper Advertising Bureau (NAB) will represent 10 community newspaper titles in Soweto.
NAB's Joint Managing Director, Gill Randall, says: "Our initial Urban Newspapers offerings in Soweto jogged such a consumer demand for localized community news and information, and an associated demand by advertisers, that the rollout of the next eight publications had to be fast-tracked. NAB is expanding to fulfil both client and consumer needs.
Brian Letsogo, NAB, says: "These ten Soweto Urban Newspapers ensure we are catering for all residents and prospective consumers. NAB will reach the identified formal households in Soweto with a total distribution of 322 000 target market-specific community newspapers this year. This enables our clients to access virtually every economically active household in the South Western Township areas for minimum expenditure."
