Sunday World gets facelift
The newspaper has undergone a thorough revamp to mark its 10th anniversary, which will be officially celebrated at the Inc club in Braamfontein on 26 June. DJs including Metro FM's Fistaz, Nutty and the Naked DJ and YFM's C-Live will be there to entertain the guests. The rebuffing of Sunday World has taken place in preparation for its birthday and after conducting in-depth research with its readers, it was established that extra features needed to be added.
Key additions to the full-colour newspaper include a new lifestyle section, more business and personal finance news, extra news and opinion features, broader personality coverage as well as additional consumer advice and in-depth investigations.
“To truly celebrate the Sunday World as South Africa's original tabloid newspaper covering everybody that is somebody, we are not only throwing [a] VIP birthday bash, but have also given the newspaper a facelift to add more value to our loyal readers and give them more bang for their buck in these tough times,” said Mogale.
