The Citizen targets affluent 4x4 enthusiasts
"4x4 Action is the first of its kind in newspaper publishing," says Greg Stewart, General Manager: Sales for The Citizen. Editor, Erika van Zyl, who has completed an advanced 4x4-driving course in order to provide relevant and objective journalism, reckons that difficult terrain is easy to conquer with the right vehicle. "The feedback we had for the first Citizen 4x4 supplement indicated that it was a resounding success with advertisers and readers alike, an indication that we are on the right track", says Erika.
