The Fashionist - International Fashion Fair's second time in South Africa
Turkel Fair Organisation Inc will be hosting The Fashionist between 21 and 23 May 2015 at the Sandton Convention Centre, a modern, 12-storey building with 22,000 square metres of convention, exhibition and special event space.
This specialised fashion fair focuses specifically on men's, women's and children's ready-to-wear, knitwear, swimwear, lingerie and underwear, accessories, fabrics industry, supplier industry, bijouterie, leather garments, footwear and saddlery.
Worldwide brands are looking for distributors, agents and retailers in the South African market
Since hosting the first event in Johannesburg in 2010, the exhibition has been progressing and growing each year and is expecting to welcome around 100 exhibitors and approximately 6,000 professional visitors in 2015. There will be international participation from the following countries; France, Italy, Spain, Turkey.
Turkish companies with worldwide brands such as Tarik Ediz, Solido, By New Class, Damat, Kigili, Moda di Centone, Piserro, Salkim Tekstil, Mondo, Cesur Tekstil, Gaudi, Ant Tekstil, Maraton Sport, Cornalli, Cakko Tekstil, Zingal, Passion Line, Asilline, Deface, Fine Fratello, Algore, Fabio Paoloni, End Green, Emporio Junior, Star Gate, Star Time and Gesa Tekstil have already booked their stands.
France Federation of Women Apparel will join in the fair with the following companies: Didier Parakian, Paul Brial, Pause Cafe, Lener Cordier - Trench & Coat.
Roberto Bottela with its brand El Dantes will join in the fair from Spain. Italian company Mafrat will participate with its brands Ferrari Junior Collection, Ducati, Ducati Corse and Mirtillo with its brand Unishop will also be in attendance at The Fashionist South Africa Fair.
The exhibition will be an ideal opportunity to strengthen ties with African trade buyers and selected international importers. It is a convenient marketing platform for exporters and will provide a truly memorable experience for South Africa's fashionists and style fanatics.
The event aims to demonstrate that African and international textile, apparel and footwear manufacturers can compete internationally on price, quality and standards.
