"The vintage roaster drum is cast iron, this changed in the sixties to mild steel. The cast iron seems to make coffee taste better. Maybe it's because it's just easier to roast on, others say it's because the cast iron gives off radiant and convective heat," explains Truth founder, David Donde.
"The new headquarters is set in the perfect location, you could say I literally followed the signs," pointing out that the back of the store opens out onto Coffee Lane. "I have found a picture of the cobbled lane dated to 1896 but would love to know more of this old side street's history."
