Best places to go in SA
The annual Best of South Africa Awards, celebrating the country's top lodge, spa, hotel and restaurant, as voted for by House and Leisure magazine readers, were announced late last week.
In association with Visa, the magazine hosted a cocktail party in Johannesburg that also doubled-up as a launch party for the bumper November Best of SA issue, which showcases the winners.
Winners
Best Lodge: The Homestead, Phinda Private Game Reserve, KwaZulu-Natal
Best Spa: Fordoun, Nottingham Road, KwaZulu-Natal Midlands (second year running)
Best Hotel: 15 on Orange Hotel, Orange Street, Cape Town
Best Restaurant: Hartford House, Mooi River, KwaZulu-Natal
