KFC to buy Nando's coop?
NEWSWATCH: Rumour has it that South African fast food chain, Nando's, has garnered interest from international restaurant operator, Yum Brands, the US owner of KFC.
Nando's first restaurant on 819 7th Street Washington DC, USA.
The international brand owner has reportedly held 'informal discussions' with the owners of Nando's, Capricorn Ventures International (CVI), although sources have down-played the possibility of any formal dealings being finalised.
Nando's opened its first American outlet in Washington, DC last year.
Latest update: Following a bizcommunity.com inquiry, today, 11 March, 2009, Riana Greenblo, head of Nando's public relations agency, Riana Greenblo Communications, said her client talks to “lots of companies lots of times, but there is no deal on the cards...”
