The Wolftrap Steakhouse Championships winners announced

The regional winners for 2015 were:

• Eastern Cape: The Cricketer, East London
  
• Gauteng: The Local Grill, Parktown North
  
• KwaZulu-Natal: Little Havana, Umhlanga Rocks
  
• Mpumalanga: Pioneers Butcher and Grill, Hazyview
  
• Western Cape: Theo's Grill, Mouille Point

The judges visited and reviewed the 20 finalists during June and while these 20 are South Africa's favourites for 2015, when it came to judging, two of the 20 stood out above the rest. Ultimately it was Little Havana's expertise in all matters meat, consistent service and accurate grilling that made it South Africa's 2015 Steakhouse Champion, with The Local Grill in Parktown North (2013 and 2014 Champion) the 2015 Runner-Up.
