Instagram's co-founders officially resign and leave Facebook

Instagram co-founders Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger have announced their resignation from Facebook.

Instagram's co-founders officially resign and leave Facebook

In a statement released on Instagram’s blog, Systrom said that both he and Krieger “remain excited for the future of Instagram and Facebook in the coming years as we transition from leaders to two users in a billion”.

Facebook bought Instagram back in 2012 and has since exercised its control over the popular app.
