Opening in October, Dubai Parks and Resorts brings together the best of the East and the West, with several days’ worth of amazing family entertainment spread across three world-class theme parks and one water park. The destination is conveniently located within easy access from Dubai and Abu Dhabi city centers and three major international airports.
The multi-theme park destination will feature Motiongate Dubai, a Hollywood-inspired theme park featuring rides and attractions based on beloved characters like Shrek, the Smurfs and Ghostbusters from big-name studios, DreamWorks Animation, Sony Pictures Studios and Lionsgate.
Bollywood Parks Dubai, the world’s first theme park dedicated to all things Bollywood, featuring 16 cinematic rides, six themed restaurants and 30 live shows inspired by contemporary Hindi-language blockbusters.
Dubai Parks and Resorts will be home to the Middle East’s first LEGOLAND Park, an interactive theme park for families which will bring the well-known LEGO brick to life in a playful learning environment and LEGOLAND Water Park, the region’s first water park catering to families with children aged 2 to 12.
The three theme parks and one water park will all be connected by Riverland Dubai, a retail, dining and entertainment walkway located at the heart of the destination, and guests can stay close to the action at the Lapita Hotel, a Polynesian-themed resort catering to families, which will be managed by the Marriott Group as part of the Autograph Collection.
Says Mark Buck, managing director United Europe: “We are thrilled to be representing what will become one of the world’s leading entertainment attractions for the South African market. Our goal will be to position Dubai Parks and Resorts as the premier family holiday destination for South African travellers.
