Changes to the late-night lineup are Angela Guastella (@ThatsmeAngela) moving from Sundays 5pm-7pm to the midnight-3am slot and Nicole da Silva (@ThatNicole) taking over 3am-6am.
Says Forbes (@robforbesdj), who is also a well-known voiceover artist, "At campus radio I hosted everything from the Top 30 to the afternoon drive show and, more recently, the breakfast show for the last three years. I'm incredibly excited to be joining the team at 5FM.
"Absolute dream come true"
"It's an absolute dream come true for me and it represents the culmination of years of hard work. The opportunity to be able to 'live' a brand like 5FM is an immense privilege and I cannot wait to share my own relaxed, fun and informative style on the new 9am-12 noon show."
Comments Moeti (@Fixsacious) aka Fix, who's back on 5FM after an 18-month gap, "5FM will always be family to me. For the last year I've been overseas studying business entrepreneurship at an arts campus in America. I can't tell you how glad I am to be back home. I'm very excited to be working with Rob Forbes."
Sunday nights 5pm-7pm will be all about music that's familiar and nostalgic, with Ntshongwana (@Poppyismyname) bringing back recent old school hits plus Top 40 shakers.
Effective 1 April 2012
The changes come into effect from 1 April 2012. The remaining few minor changes (DJs moving to different timeslots on weekends) will announced in the final full lineup announcement at the end of March.
