"We have been involved with the festival for many years," said Algoa FM MD Dave Tiltman. "This year marks our 25th year of broadcasting, so it's another reason to celebrate with the community. The station is also passionate about the Eastern Cape and positioning it as a premier tourism destination.
"The festival always has a very strong musical component, which is of course a draw card for us and some of this year's headline acts, such as Justin Hines, Loyiso Bala and Dr Victor and the Rasta Rebels, are play listed on the station."
According to the latest RAMS figures, the station's footprint covers the Eastern Cape with a listenership of 675 000 in the 'past seven days'.
