2011 MTN Radio Awards open for entries

New categories include a Lifetime Achievement Award, Best Sports Commentator, Best Drama Programme, Best On-Air Packaging, Best Traffic Reporter and Best Community Event.

Judging procedure

Judges will be grouped into teams, and entries will be split between teams for the preliminary judging. In the final stage of judging, all top-scoring entries will be discussed and winners chosen.

Entries will only be accepted this year on a disc delivered to the awards secretariat. Five copies of each disc are required. All entries must be accompanied by a letter from the station as proof of broadcast and consent.

The deadline for this year's submissions is 5 pm on 31 January 2011. Winners will be announced at a gala event on 9 April 2011.
