Kfm announces lineup changes

From 1 March 2010, Lee Downs will be hosting 94.5 Kfm's afternoon drive show. Since starting his career at Capital Radio when he was just 17, Downs has become one of the most experienced and professional radio broadcasters in the country. He has hosted various afternoon drive shows broadcast around the Cape since 1997. "He's a well-known, popular name in the Cape and his style complements the rest of the Kfm line-up," said Kfm programming manager, Ian Bredenkamp.

Richard Hardiman will move to the lunchtime show. Charmaine Noy, who for the past while has performed the double role of steering listeners through lunch and being part of Ryan O'Connor's breakfast show, will now be focusing entirely on her role in the breakfast show.

"We're looking forward to hearing how Richard and Charmaine express themselves in their new roles," said Bredenkamp. "Both have a loyal following and we are confident they will rise to the challenges and opportunities these changes bring."

The weekday line up on Kfm now looks like this:

6am - 9am Kfm breakfast with Ryan O'Connor 9am - 12pm Benito Vergotine 12pm - 3pm Richard Hardiman 3pm - 7pm Lee Downs 7pm - 10pm Ryan Seacrest.
