“One of the RAB's objectives is to enhance the perception of radio as a primary advertising medium in South Africa and I am truly excited to be a part of this process,” said Gibson on his new appointment.
“I look forward to working with advertisers and marketers, media planners, strategists and creative experts and contribute to helping move radio higher up the advertising agenda.”
Ryan Till, Chairman of the RAB, said Gibson's dedication to manage and grow the RAB will prove invaluable.
“We are very proud to have Norman on board,” said Till. “The wheels of the RAB are finally being set in motion. The response from the radio industry as well as the advertising and marketing industries has been phenomenal - and we haven't even started operating yet.”
