SABC fires Metro FM marketing manager

According to the SABC, Hoyana was found guilty of dishonesty and contravening the SABC Electronic Policy. Hoyana has since indicated to the SABC that he will be appealing the decision.

Pending the completion of the appeal, Metro FM management has appointed Kina Nhlengethwa as acting marketing manager.

The SABC also stated that it would not “divulge further information into the matter as it was an internal issue between the organisation and Mr Hoyana.”
