Seate will be presenting the Hip-Hop Show with Ms K on Fridays, 7pm – 10pm; at same time on Saturdays, the two will also be presenting Party Time. The Hip-Hop show will focus on latest hits, local and international trends, newsmakers and tours. Poetry will be key. The Party Time show will play golden party time oldies and inform people about the latest gigs and concerts around town.
According to Amos Tabane, Motsweding FM marketing manager, the lineup is about keeping in touch with listenership trends and adding Seate to the weekend lineup is a strategic move to encourage young people to be proud of being Batswana and speaking Setswana. “The message we are conveying is very simple ‘it's cool to speak Setswana' and Stoan epitomises that in abundance.”
Also joining the weekend lineup is ex-Jozi FM presenter DJ Papa Moalusi, ex-YFM salesman Brian Letsogo and Irene Mokgosi from Vaaltar FM. DJ Papa will host “Di a Duma” on Fridays, 10pm – 2am with Freda Tlhapane, a local and international chart show. Letsogo will host the Saturday breakfast show 6am – 9am.
