Bust nets R1,9m in fake goods

Fake DVDs, CDs, counterfeit clothing and credit-card-cloning machines have been confiscated by police in major busts in Gauteng where goods valued at R1,9m were seized according to Business Live.

The Business Live report says that 29 people have been arrested and a total of 23 526 fake DVDs and CDs - with a street value of more than R1,2m - were confiscated along with machinery and cloned credit cards worth over R160 000 during a police operation conducted by the Hawks in Pretoria, Johannesburg, Germiston and Roodepoort.
