Sonic Summer Festival Tour

The Sonic Summer Festival Tour will feature cutting-edge music from some of the biggest names: Die Antwoord, Locnville, Jax Panik and Goldfish are highlighting the tour.

Die Antwoord

The futuristic rap-rave crew Die Antwoord represent a fresh new style called zef. Die Antwoord crew is made up of zef rap master Ninja, futuristic rich bitch Yo-Landi Visser and the mysterious beat monster DJ Hi-Tek.

Locnville

Locnville are an electro-hop music duo, established by twin brothers Andrew and Brian Chaplin in 2009. The duo are singer-songwriters, song producers and musicians, in addition to being guitarists, drummers and business entrepreneurs.

Jax Panik

Jax Panik is, Jacobus Johannes van Heerden, from Belville, Cape Town. Jax Panik has been billed as SA's first online musician, releasing his music in the online space only. His music is a mix of pop, rock, and electro, with catchy hooks, emo lyrics, sing-along choruses, and loads of dance appeal.

Goldfish

Two boys from Cape Town whose genre-defying mix of jazzy house beats and searing live performances has seen them launch head first into the worldwide dance music consciousness. Goldfish consists of the two multi-instrumentalists, David Poole and Dominic Peters, who have a special brand of catchy electronic music using exciting new techniques to create live dance remixes.
