Phil Collins thanked for continued support

Pop star Phil Collins supports the South African charity The Topsy Foundation and has donated all royalties earned in South Africa to the foundation for the past seven years. The money is largely used in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

In support of Phil Collins' initiative, Warner Music Group donates its earnings on all Phil Collins record sales in South Africa. To date, the foundation has received in excess of R3.5 million.

Silvia de Jager, executive director at The Topsy Foundation, said: "The Topsy Foundation celebrates its 10th anniversary this year and has benefitted enormously from this generous contribution. We are truly grateful for the continued support we have received from Phil Collins, as well as Warner Music; support that is so desperately needed."

The Topsy Foundation is a non-profit organisation that partners rural communities in the fight against HIV and AIDS. This is done through medical care, social support and skills development.
