A 65-piece orchestra will perform on stage, together with bands Flat Stanley, Just Jinjer, Louise Carver, Watershed, aKing and Gang of Instrumentals.

The audience will hear over 20 popular songs, of which at least 15 have been number one hits. Each song has been painstakingly rearranged by John Walton from the CTPO over the past few months. The result is that musicians from each of the bands will perform their songs together with 22 violins, eight violas, six cellos, four double basses, a harp as well as full woodwind, brass and percussion sections.

The concert is the brainchild of Flat Stanley's Andy Mac who first envisaged a show of this nature six years ago. Since then he has undertaken to bring all the bands and the orchestra together.
