It's great to see the increasingly popular Ashtray Electric as part of the menu with original indie rocksters, Just Jinjer making their presence known. They're back from their successful stint in the States and hopefully they're here to stay for a long, long time.
Johnny 'the white Zulu' Clegg will open up festivities and he'll be followed soon after by his equally talented son, Jesse Clegg who's taken a different path from his father by shaking up the rock charts in SA.
Definite sell-outs in my book are Freshly Ground, Fokofpolisiekar, Just Jinjer, Prime Circle and Goldfish. If you want to see these artists perform, I suggest you book online at www.webtickets.co.za or via telephone +27 (0) 21 799 8783/8620.
If those artists didn't tickle your fancy then perhaps those part of the Old Mutual Encounters series will:
29 November - Claire Philips and Neo Muyanga
