Alexisonfire featured on Guitar Hero World Tour
Alexisonfire is featured on a three-song track pack available for Guitar Hero World Tour to be released on 23 July 2009. The track pack includes the Guitar Hero downloadable content debut from the band. Featured is “Young Cardinals”, the first single from their fourth full-length album, “Old Crows / Young Cardinals”, which debuted at #2 in Canada on the Top 200 Soundscan Chart.
"Old Crows / Young Cardinals" was released on 23 June on Dine Alone in Canada, Australia, South East Asia and to be released in South Africa on 25 July. It was released by Vagrant in the US and RoadRunner in the rest of the world. The three-song track pack also includes a track from Thrice and Senses Fail, who are Alexisonfire label mates in the US via Vagrant Records.
The Vagrant Records track pack will be available on Xbox Live Marketplace for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, and on the PlayStation Store for the Playstation 3 computer entertainment system. All three songs will be released as downloadable singles for Xbox 360, the Playstation 3 system and Wii.
Alexisonfire is appearing this summer on the Vans Warped Tour that runs from 26 June to 23 August 2009.
