Best of the Fest 20 major artists, 20 memorable tracks, 4 mega-fests.

Coca-Cola South Africa (CCSA) has been involved with music for the past 8 years. After the great success of Coca-Cola Popstars in South Africa, the Coca-Cola Collaboration CD and Coca-Cola Colab, 2005, saw Coca-Cola amplify its investment into creating the biggest international music festival South Africa had ever seen and this gave rise to Coca-Cola Massive Mix (2006), My Coke Fest in 2007 and 2008 and now Coca-Cola Zero Fest (which this year features Oasis, Snow Patrol, Panic at the Disco, Bullet for my Valentine, Zebra & Giraffe and The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus on the bill).

The Best of the Fest Album is the official Coca-Cola Zero Fest compilation album featuring the 20 of the finest International and South African bands who have, over the past four years, performed at the South Africa's number one music festival. Over 50 different bands have performed at these events, so compiling a 20-track album was an intricate task trying to include the fans' favourite bands.

Best of the Fest includes exclusive packaging dedicated to the best musical memories from all of the festivals over the past four years, highlighting some of the crowd favourites from Cola-Cola Massive Mix (2006), including SA's dynamic top rock outfit Seether's smash hit ‘Fake It', Prime Circle's ‘Hello' and European rockers The Rasmus' breakthrough hit ‘In The Shadows'.

Tracks from 2007's My Coke Fest include Amy Lee and her band Evanescence's debut single ‘Bring Me To Life', American rockers 3 Doors Down's epic ballad ‘Here Without You' as well as SA's very own Springbok Nude Girls' ‘Illuminate' and Cape Town's favourite sons , The Dirty Skirt's debut single ‘Feeling The Pressure'.

Included on the Best of the Fest Album from the 2008 My Coke Fest, are Californian hard rockers Korn's hit ‘Twisted Transistor', the UK band named after Soweto's top football team Kaiser Chiefs' hit single ‘Ruby', Good Charlotte's ‘Lifestyles of the Rich & The Famous' and Jared Leto's band 30 Seconds to Mars's modern rock classic ‘Attack'

This year's 2009 Coca-Cola Zero Fest sees the inclusion of Welsh rockers' Bullet For My Valentine's single ‘Tears Don't Fall', Oasis' latest hit single ‘The Shock Of the Lightning', South Africa's hottest new alternative band Zebra & Giraffe's debut single ‘The Knife' and US modern rocker's Red Jumpsuit Apparatus' single ‘Face Down'.
