The one-day festival begins will see jazz and classical icons alternate on stage for seven hours.
The show will open with the Kyle Shepherd Trio with Shepherd (piano), Shane Cooper (double bass) and Jonno Sweetman (drums), followed by classical composers-performers Reza Khota, Brydon Bolton, Matthijs van Dijk and Cara Stacey of the Night Light Collective and Mandla Mlangeni’s Tune Recreation Committee (Clement Benny/drums, Nicholas Williams/bass, Reza Khota/guitar, Mandla Mlangeni/trumpet and Afrika Mkhize/piano and keyboard).
Next on the lineup will be violist Jan-Hendrik Harley’s Ensemble Je ne Comprends Pas and bringing the show to an end will be trumpeter/vocalist Mandisi Dyantyis.
