Kahn Morbee, Neil Pauw and brothers Glen and Paul Hodgson make up the Parlotones, who came together in 1998 to “make music". Little did they know that they would go on to become one of South Africa’s biggest, more proudest exports, finding major success both in their home country as well as across international markets.

The band has toured internationally since 2007. They have regularly visited the UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and North America, as well as playing shows in South America, Canada, Australia, Japan and Russia. They have toured with Coldplay, Starsailor, Ash, The Wombats, Snow Patrol and Blue October.

“As our final show for the year, we’re keen to give Ballito something to look forward to, and we know an act as large and as captivating as The Parlotones will provide the perfect entertainment and the perfect finale for 2019,” says series director Stu Berry.

“We look forward to some vibrant sing-along favourites and the typically infectious stage performance from Kahn and the guys. The enthusiastic Ballito crowd has proven time and time again that they’re always up for great quality live entertainment, and we’re proud to bring it to them.”
