Freshlyground, BCUC and Bongeziwe Mabandla to support George Ezra
British singer /songwriter and double-Platinum-selling artist George Ezra will be joined on stage by Freshlyground, BCUC and Bongeziwe Mabandla at his outdoor concert on the Festival Lawns at Carnival City, Joburg, on 30 August, 2015.
About 15,000 revellers are expected to descend on the lawns for the one-night-only concert. Ezra, who hails from the UK, is known for hits like Budapest and Blame It On Me, which have climbed the South African radio charts. His music, described as deep, bluesy and mournful, is strongly influenced by the likes of Bob Dylan and Woody Guthrie. His first studio album, 'Wanted on Voyage', was released in 2014 and has enjoyed significant success worldwide.
Tickets to the show are available at www.seedtickets.co.za or Nutickets and range in price from R575 per person. The show will start at 12 noon and is suitable for all ages.
