Early-bird tickets to Splashy Fen on sale
Early-bird tickets to Splashy Fen 2015, which takes place from 2 to 6 April, are now on sale at Computicket for R500, which includes camping for the entire four-night, five-day festival. This offer runs until the end of December, after which normal advance tickets will cost R625.
The first 500 ticket holders will also get their hands on a Jose Cuervo festival pack containing a squeeze bottle, poncho and kit bag.
South Africa's longest-running annual music festival, Splashy Fen has been going strong since 1990 and every Easter sees thousands of people descending on a farm near Underberg in KwaZulu-Natal for a long weekend of live music in a spectacular mountain setting.
According to festival organiser Pedro Carlo, visitors to next year's event can look forward to more stages, a fresh layout, and an awesome line-up of the very best in SA music, with the likes of Shortstraw, The Plastics, aKing, Beast, Taxi Violence, Kahn, Hot Water and Urban Creep among the first batch of acts to be announced.
"We'll also be adding bag jumping, dirt boarding and a trail run to the mix, as well as an all-new comedy bill and an even wider variety of food and drink outlets, all geared towards making the Splashy experience as much fun as possible," said Carlo.
