    First bands announced for Freedom Festival SA

    The Freedom Festival SA will be held on Saturday 25 April in Pretoria, and Monday, 27 April, 2015, in Cape Town at SuperSport Park, Centurion and West Coast Ostrich Ranch, Cape Town. The festival will feature four top international bands and 10 top local bands on two stages.

    The third stage will be an Electronic Dance Music stage (EDM) featuring two international DJs and a host of top SA DJs.

    International line-up so far:

    The Airborne Toxic Event: An American indie rock band from Los Feliz, Los Angeles, California. It consists of Mikel Jollett (vocals, guitar and keyboards), Steven Chen (guitar, keyboards), Noah Harmon (electric bass, upright bass, backing vocals), Daren Taylor (drums) and Anna Bulbrook (violin, keyboard, tambourine, backing vocals).

    Skillet: Skillet is a rock band formed in Memphis, Tennessee in 1996. It consists of husband and wife John (lead vocals, bass) and Korey Cooper (rhythm guitar, keyboards, backing vocals), along with Jen Ledger (drums, vocals) and Seth Morrison (lead guitar).
