Meet Smokie at the Mall@Carnival

Smokie will be live on air with presenter Francois van Rensburg from 12 noon to 1pm. Thereafter, Smokie will be available for half an hour to meet their South African fans for some autographing. Bring your cameras with - you might just get a picture.

Smokie in SA box set

A brand new Smokie in SA box set will also be available on 25 September, which will consist out of a "Take a Minute" CD, Smokie Hits and the DVD, Smokie Live in SA.

Retha Potgieter, station manager of East Rand Stereo 93.9FM, is very excited about Smokie's visit to the satellite studio. "This is our chance to give something back to our loyal listeners to meet this wonderful international group. Our satellite studio at the Mall@Carnival is perfectly situated to receive big-name artists and we are proud to be associated with the Mall@Carnival. As a limited number of people can be allowed in front of the East Rand Stereo studio, the public are requested to come early to be safe to get a glimpse of the group.
