Bush Radio seeks sponsors for World Kidocracy Conference
The World Kidocracy Conference will be held in Cape Town in September 2003. The conference, hosted by the "mother" of community radio, Bush Radio, is designed to expose 13-18 year olds from around the world to the importance of the role of radio in the building of a democratic environment.
The participants will be involved in a 5-day programme involving group work and culminating in the making of programmes for radio. Their work is played back and reviewed at the end of the workshops.
