    The Curious Incident SA tour

    The South African-born and London-bred four-piece band The Curious Incident,currently touring SA, will be playing tonight, 19 January Tanz Café, Fourways, Joburg (acoustic show) and on 21 January at Mercury Live, Cape Town. More dates are to be confirmed.

    The band comprises Kyle Verhagen-Roberts (lead vocals, rhythm guitar and percussion), Jack Stephenson-Oliver (lead guitar and backing vocals), Diaz Meidiawan (drums and percussion) and Francesco Moreno (bass, keyboard and backing vocals).

    The Curious Incident are stopping over in SA on their way to North America for a tour built around their forthcoming performance at the Canada Music Week, Toronto during March 2012. They describe their sound as "a mash of Afro/Latin/Rock with soul that is proudly eclectic and ambitiously international". Their musical influences range from Led Zeppelin and early Santana to The Mars Volta, Queens of the Stone Age, Incubus and BLK JKS.
