Bushmans Kloof spa recognised with industry award
This natural haven of beauty and tranquillity, 270km from Cape Town, was recognised in the 'Unique Spa' category of the prestigious awards, hosted for the seventh year by Les Nouvelles Esthetiques South Africa in association with Les Nouvelles Esthetiques Paris.
Receiving the award this week on behalf of Bushmans Kloof, spa manager Dee Basson said the award was greatly appreciated for its efforts and commitment in promoting the unique wellness experience at the Reserve as well as encouraging therapists to "strive for the highest standards within the health and wellness industry".

A range of awards
Part of the Red Carnation Hotel Collection of South Africa, the five-star wilderness retreat has received the ultimate in recognition including Conde Nast Traveler listing Bushmans Kloof on their 2011 list of 40 Best Urban and Rural Retreats, being voted as No.1 World's Best Hotel and No.1 Africa's Best Hotel in Travel + Leisure's 500 World's Best Hotels 2010, and being named one of the 'Best Hotels for Food' in Africa, Middle East and the Indian Ocean in the Condé Nast Traveller UK Gold List 2011.

In 2010, The spa at sister property The Oyster Box Hotel won the 'Hotel Spas for 2010' category, with special mention as the only spa ever to receive 100% on both rounds of judging. The spa at The Twelve Apostles Hotel is currently being completely renovated and will open in September, managed and operated by the Red Carnation Hotel Collection with the same excellent standards of service, treatments and design.
