Sandton Sun wins 2011 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Award
The Sandton Sun has announced that TripAdvisor, reputed to be the world's largest travel website, has acknowledged the hotel as a 2011 Excellence Award Winner. The TripAdvisor Awards take place each year and recognise properties that consistently receive excellent ratings from its members.
TripAdvisor provides an unbiased, open platform for travellers to post 'real' and honest reviews of properties listed worldwide. To qualify, each award recipient must maintain an average rating of 4 or higher by travellers on the website.
Postings tracked
TripAdvisor tracks all postings and those establishments that constantly receive such high ratings are awarded with a Certificate of Excellence. This year the Sandton Sun received an outstanding 4 star rating and will soon be receiving its certificate to put on display at the hotel.
