TripAdvisor provides an unbiased, open platform for travellers to post 'real' and honest reviews of properties listed worldwide. To qualify, each award recipient must maintain an average rating of 4 or higher by travellers on the website.
TripAdvisor tracks all postings and those establishments that constantly receive such high ratings are awarded with a Certificate of Excellence. This year the Sandton Sun received an outstanding 4 star rating and will soon be receiving its certificate to put on display at the hotel.
